New actress Sayma Smrity is making her acting debut on the big screen with the movie 'Jontrona’. Ariful Islam Arif's movie 'Jontrona’ is going to be released in the theaters of the country on October 27.
On the occasion of the movie's release, a press conference was held at a restaurant in the capital's Moghbazar on Sunday. Along with the cast and crews of the movie, veteran filmmakers Kazi Hayat, Delwar Jahan Jhantu, Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar, Directors Guild President Anant Hira, Directors Guild Secretary Kamruzzaman Sagar and others were present.
At the press meet, newcomer Sayma Smrity said, “This is my first movie, but I got a lot of support from my director and co-stars. If they did not give me this support, I might not have been able to work well. A good movie has been made by everyone's efforts. Everyone, please pray for me.”
The director of the movie, Ariful Islam Arif, said, "The movie is made based on a love story. There is a novelty in the story. The movie has been made keeping in mind the present situation.”
The film ‘Jontrona’ has been produced under the banner of Smart Multimedia. Apart from Sayma Smrity, Adar Azad played two important roles in the movie and Mansi Prakriti played a special role. The movie also cast Shatabdi Wadud, Don, Barda Mithu, Ashraf Kabir, Sohel Rashid, Gangua, Zahid, Parvez Sumon, Sheikh Swapna, Parveen Akhtar, guest artiste Tonami Haque are also in various roles.
