PLEDIS Entertainment has confirmed in a phone call with Dispatch that SEVENTEEN will be releasing a new album next month.
“The SEVENTEEN members are preparing for their fan meeting and working on the new album at the same time,” revealed the agency. “They are currently hard at work on their final preparations for the album.”
The night before, SEVENTEEN’s leader S.Coups had surprised fans – and possibly his agency – by announcing the news of their comeback during the first night of their “SEVENTEEN in CARAT LAND” fan meeting, reports Soompi.
S.Coups playfully remarked, “The company told me to say this on the final day [of the fan meeting], but part of my charm is that I’m disobedient by nature. We’ll be making a comeback in April.”
SEVENTEEN’s last comeback as a full group was in July of last year, when they released their repackaged album “SECTOR 17.”
