Renowned Bangladeshi actress Shabnur has reached a significant milestone in her illustrious acting career, spanning over three decades. Her journey began on October 15, 1993, with the film "Chandni Raatey," directed by Ehtesham. She got her breakthrough in her third film “Tumi Amar”, co-acted with Salman Shah in 1994.

She won the Bangladesh National Film Award for Best Actress in 2006 for her role in the film Dui Noyoner Alo (2005). In 2011 she received the CJFB Performance Award for Best Actress in the 2010 film "Ebhabei Bhalobasha Hoy."

Shabnur said, "I have spent three decades in the film industry, riding on everyone's love. Alhamdulillah. Since I started acting, producers and directors have shown immense interest in casting me in movies, resulting in a whopping 158 films in my portfolio. Actually, each film I've acted in is very dear to me. Among my co-stars, Salman Shah, who tragically passed away, was the most beloved by the audience. Until Salman's untimely demise, for a mere four years, we worked together in 14 highly praised and commercially very successful films. In my acting career spanning over thirty years, there have been many more co-stars who have made significant contributions. Among them, prominent figures include the late Manna Bhai, Omar Sani, Bapparaj, Amin Khan, Riaz Ahmed, Ferdous Ahmed, Shakil Khan and Shakib Khan. With Allah's mercy and everyone's prayers, I continue to live with enough respect in the film industry. I am sincerely grateful to all the producers, directors, co-actors, choreographers, cinematographers, and the entire team associated with the film industry for their genuine support and gratitude."

"Especially to my countless fans and admirers, whose selfless love and support for me have only grown stronger since joining social media. I hope your unwavering love will remain unchanged in the future. I extend special thanks to my journalist brothers and sisters. Almost everyone has shown such supportive attitudes, helping me excel by presenting unbiased news. Thank you all for bringing me so far with such a helpful and encouraging attitude," she added.

In a career that has seen 158 films, Shabnur has graced the silver screen with some of the most memorable titles in Bangladeshi cinema. Notable among them are "Shopner Thikana", "Swapner Prithibi", "Swapner Nayok", "Tomake Chai", "Buker Bhitor Agun", "Anando Oshru", "Prem Piashi", "Sujon Sokhi", "Jibon Songsar", "Modhur Milon", "Golapi Ekhon Bilatey", "Amar Swapno Tumi", "Dui Noyoner Alo" and many more. Each of these films holds a special place in Shabnur's heart, showcasing her versatility as an actress.
