Renowned film director and producer Shafi Bikrompuri has passed away. He succumbed to critical illness at 4am in a Bangkok hospital on Tuesday while undergoing treatment at the hospital. He was 81 years old at the time of his demise. Bangladesh Directors' Guild expresses deep condolences to the grieving family.
Shafi Bikrompuri, an eminent figure in the realm of cinema, has etched an enduring legacy through his adept direction, proficient production, and captivating cinematic creations. Among his notable masterpieces stand "Arunodoyer Agnishakkhi" and "Rajdulari", exemplifying his artistic prowess.
His filmography encompasses a rich tapestry of works, including "Daku Mansur", "Bahadur", "Sabuj Sathi", "Sokal Sandhya", "Matir Kole", "Joj Saheb", "Denmohor", and "Obuj Moner Valobasha".
