Shakib Al Hasan becomes brand ambassador of Shakib Khan’s company

Cricket and films are poles apart: one is real, the other make-believe. Though different, they are alike in so many ways. Two most prominent arenas of the country are now set to witness the collaboration of two towering figures, Shakib Khan and Shakib Al Hasan.

Cricket maestro Shakib Al Hasan has joined as a goodwill ambassador of Tilox, a newly launched brand of Remark-Harlan where Dhallywood superstar Shakib Khan is director.

The cricketer and the actor signed the contract at a hotel in Dhaka on Saturday. Through this event, two superstars from the arena of cinema and cricket came together in the presence of the media.

Shakib Khan said, “Shakib Al Hasan or Shakib Khan, by whatever name, we are brothers. Today the world's best all-rounder is associated with an all-rounder brand. Shakib Al Hasan eagerly joined because he also understood that it was a world-class product, which would be within the purchasing power. We will work together to take this company forward.”

Shakib Khan joined Remark-Harlan as a director in January. Shakib Khan has recently completed the shooting of 'Rajkumar'. Produced by Himel Ashraf, this film will be released on Eid-ul-Fitr.

Additionally, this month, he will be heading to Chennai for the shooting of another film titled "Toofan," which is set to be released during Eid-ul-Azha.
