Renowned actor Shakib Khan has been announced as the lead in Raihan Rafi's upcoming film "Premik". This development comes after initial reports of the film's production being put on hold. Recent meetings held at Shakib's Gulshan office indicate a positive turn in their professional relationship.
In a statement, Rafi expressed his admiration for Shakib Khan, calling him the most popular actor in the country. He emphasized his eagerness to collaborate with Shakib, expressing confidence that their joint efforts will yield a remarkable outcome. Regarding the new project, Rafi stated, "Time will reveal everything."
It is reported that the film will be produced by Chorki and Alpha-i. This announcement follows the recent Eid releases of Shakib Khan's "Priyotoma" and Rafi's directorial venture "Surongo." Both films garnered substantial attention and contributed to the flourishing Bengali cinema scene.
Shakib Khan is also set to feature in the upcoming film "Rajkumar," directed by Himel Ashraf, slated for release next Eid-ul-Fitr. The shooting for "Rajkumar" is scheduled to commence towards the end of the this year.
