Newcomers in the acting industry, Shashwat Datta and Sadia Ayman, who garnered attention three years ago for their stellar performances in the play "Kobi+Kusum," directed by Setu Arif, have joined forces again in a new drama titled "Kew Kew Theke Jay."
Directed by Shishir Ahmed and scripted by Golam Sarwar Anik, brings the duo back together in the world of love and relationships.
Speaking about the collaboration, Shishir stated, "Before this, Sadia had acted in a play under my direction. 'Kew Kew Theke Jay' marks my first project with Shashwat. Both of them have contributed wholeheartedly to the performance. As a director, I am impressed with their acting."
Reflecting on their acting experiences, Sadia expressed, "Kobi+Kusum was an experimental work under the direction of Setu Arif bhai. The response to that play was quite good. We were primarily involved in working on advertisements back then. However, after a hiatus, we have come together again for this project under Shishir bhai's direction. I enjoyed working with Shashwat bhai, and we make a conscious effort to immerse ourselves in the storyline and deliver authentic performances."
Shashwat Datta added, "Working on 'Kew Kew Theke Jay' has been a great experience. The director paid meticulous attention during scene conceptualization. The rest can be judged by the audience. Nevertheless, it was a delightful experience working with Shishir bhai and Sadia.
The director, Shishir Ahmed, revealed that the play would soon be broadcast on national television.
Furthermore, Shashwat is set to star in a web film titled 'Oshomoy,' scheduled for release in the second week of January. Sadia, on the other hand, won accolades for her role in the web film 'Maya Shalik' directed by Shahin, and she looks forward to presenting more content to the audience in 2024.
