Actress Deepa Khandakar, renowned for her versatile acting, has currently immersed herself in film endeavors. She is presently occupied with Mostafizur Rahman Manik's film "Dark World." Although the final decision regarding Mahi's future involvement in the film remains uncertain, efforts are underway to ensure a seamless transition in the project.

Director Manik is actively overseeing the film's production, steering other artists towards the completion of their roles. Deepa Khandakar confirmed her recent participation in the shooting of "Dark World," which promises to be another remarkable addition to her cinematic repertoire.

Simultaneously, Deepa has recently concluded work on another captivating short film. Directed by Shibu Kumar Shil and Umma Salma Usha, the film titled "Bakita Itihas," based on Selina Hossain's story, features the seasoned and versatile actor Shatabdi Wadud opposite Deepa. Filming has taken place at the ancestral home of actor Iresh Zaker on Bailey Road as Deepa revealed.

Deepa says, "Selina Hossain's stories always create a unique appeal.  Selina apa is the pride of our Bengali literature. Having the opportunity to work with her stories is a privilege for everyone. Me and Shatabdi have worked with one hundred percent dedication. As an artist, we try to overcome various obstacles. The same has happened here. Let's see what happens till the end."

Shatabdi Wadud, sharing his thoughts on the project, expressed, "Selina apa's story means something special. I thank the director because they made an effort to do the job well. Deepa and I have undoubtedly tried to do our best in our characters."

Furthermore, Deepa Khandakar, under the direction of Sudip Biswas, has embarked on a new television series. In addition to her acting commitments, she has also been actively engaged in modeling for various new advertisements.

Since his debut in the television drama "Tokai" in 1985, Shatabdi Wadud's journey in the realm of acting has been marked by numerous notable performances. His first TV drama, "Shonkito Podojatra," set the stage for an illustrious career, culminating in hir unforgettable role in the acclaimed film "Guerrilla," which earned him the National Film Award.
