Sohan Ali has revealed his potential with his newest creation 'Tetul'. Despite being a member of the modern generation, he holds a deep appreciation for the traditional tunes of North Bengal. Therefore, Sohan is keen on working particularly with the heritage-rich songs of the region.

Following this trend, Sohan has presented this new traditional regional song, "Tetul". Just like before, he has added his own touch to the lyrics and melody. However, this original element has sung by Ismile Hossain.

On September 28, Sohan Ali released the song on his YouTube channel, receiving tremendous acclaim. This young musician explained that "Tetul" has straightforward lyrics, but its essence is much deeper.

Sohan clarified, "Here, 'Feriwala' refers to the creator. It's a conversation between a person and the creator or creation. Based on this essence, I composed the original part. Ismile Hossain's rendition is extraordinary. I tried to bring a little variation with his vocals."

Regarding his work with regional songs and continuous efforts in this direction, Sohan stated, "I am a native of North Bengal. There are many traditional songs in this region. However, they rarely get into mainstream media. So, alongside my original compositions, I want to bring forward the nearly lost songs to the new generation. The second endeavor for that is 'Tetul.' I've learned it's called 'Rajbanshi Geet'. However, I haven't been able to find the exact identity of its composer."

A few years ago, he released a song named "Jolpai," which garnered a substantial audience.

It's worth mentioning that Sohan Ali has already released several self-composed songs. Among them, "Chol Dotong Pahar" has transformed into a pilgrimage anthem. Sohan also mentioned that two more songs are in the pipeline.
