Renowned Bangladeshi actors, Sohana Saba and Gazi Abdun Noor are set to dazzle the silver screen with their enchanting chemistry in the upcoming film 'Oshombhob’.
Directed by Aruna Biswas and supported by a government grant, the movie has already received clearance from the censor board.
Aruna Biswas, expressing her satisfaction, stated, "Both Sohana Saba and Noor have delivered extraordinary performances in their respective roles. Their on-screen chemistry is simply remarkable. As a director and producer, I am pleased. During the shoot, they both provided me with tremendous support and portrayed their characters with exceptional finesse. This is why I have immense confidence that the audience will greatly appreciate their performances."
Sohana Saba expressed her gratitude towards Aruna Biswas, saying, "Working under the esteemed direction of Aruna Didi was a truly wonderful experience for me. For those of us who regularly act, there are certain dream roles we aspire to. The character I portrayed in 'Oshombhob' was one such dream role for me. I thoroughly enjoyed bringing this character to life. Aruna Didi left no stone unturned in making the film, and I believe it will be well-received by the audience."
Noor has previously showcased his talent in Nargis Akhter's 'Joiboti Koinyar Mon’. Noor shared, "The story, set, direction by Aruna Didi and everyone's mutual support – all of it together made 'Oshombhob' an extraordinary experience for me. I have worked hard to do justice to my character. After the film's release, the audience will be the best judge of its quality."
Apart from Noor and Saba, 'Oshombhob' features performances by Abul Hayat, Jyotsna Biswas, Shahed Sharif Khan, Swagata, and Khalilur Rahman Kaderi in pivotal roles.
The film is scheduled for release on October 20, 2023.
