In celebration of their glorious 50-year journey, the legendary Bangladeshi band 'Souls' has embarked on a tour of Australia.

On August 24, the entire 'Souls' team arrived in Sydney, where they are scheduled to participate in six concerts. This special tour promises a spectacular display of their musical prowess, as they serenade audiences across various cities in Australia.

Kicking off the tour, a live concert by 'Souls' was held at the Charlesworth Theatre in Canberra on August 26. Organised by ATN Canberra, the concert showcased nearly two hours of soul-stirring music in front of a captivated audience. Notably, Abdullah Al Mamun, the lyricist of Souls' timeless hit "Mukhorito Jibon," was present at the event. He took the opportunity to share the story behind the creation of the song, connecting the audience with the heartfelt narrative. Additionally, the Australia-based Bangladeshi community joined the band members in singing the iconic song.

After the conclusion of the concert, Partha Barua, the leader of Souls, expressed, "The audience in the auditorium deeply enjoyed Souls' songs. Today's performance, particularly with Mamun bhai's presence, holds a special place in our hearts. In one word, it has been an extraordinary show."

Looking ahead, Souls is set to perform in Sydney on September 2, Brisbane on September 9, Melbourne on September 16, Adelaide on September 23, and Perth on September 24. The band members are thrilled to present both their classic hits and new songs during these concerts.

Reflecting on this tour on the occasion of Solace's 50th anniversary, Partha Barua remarked, "This tour is in celebration of Souls' 50 years. Alongside the timeless classics, we are excited to offer new songs as a gift to our devoted fans."

'Souls' will return to Dhaka at the end of next month. Earlier in July, the band had participated in several concerts in the United Kingdom.

In line with their 50th anniversary, Souls had announced the release of 50 songs. Notably, this includes their renowned hits "Jodi Dekho", "Kita Vaisab" and "Rickshaw."
