The popular magazine programme “Panchphoran” produced by Fagun Audio Vision, is once again ready to enthrall the audience this upcoming Pahela Baishakh. Presented by Keya Cosmetics, the special show will be telecast on ATN Bangla at 10:30pm on April 14.

Like always, Panchphoran spreads joy to viewers, and this time on the occasion of love, it has been arranged with various segments with new twists throughout the show. Each of its items will be presented dramatically.

Baishakhi Mela is a part and parcel of Bengali culture. It is perhaps the largest and most comprehensive celebration of the arts and culture of Bangladesh. This fair encompasses handicrafts, agricultural products, musical instruments, toys, women's ornaments, and various foods like chira, muri, khoi, batasa, juice, and others.

The story of this year's Panchphoran is based on the stories of some of those people who provide these things at the fair. Mir Sabbir and Sarika Subrin will portray the roles of the husband and wife who will lead the show, maintaining the tradition of having no separate presenters for Panchphoran. Jamil Hossain will join the show as neighbour. Their conversations will be interspaced with various songs, short plays, and special reports.

The special episode features three original songs. The song titled ‘Nobiner daak Eso’ will be performed by Rabi Chowdhury. The song is penned by Mohammad Rafiquzzaman. Penned by Liton Adhikari Rintu, the song ‘Ponjikata Bodle Gelo’ will be sung by music artist Pantha Kanai. Both the songs have been tuned and composed by Sumon Kalyan. Another song will be performed and tuned by folk artist Shafi Mondol.

There are two informative reports in this year's Panchphoran about the new clothes and our thousand-year-old tradition of pottery made of clay, which are the main accessories of the Baisakhi festival.

The show also features several mini-dramas with a stellar cast, including Solaiman Khoka, Shubhasis Bhowmik, Anjuman Ara Shirin, Zahid Sikder, Anwar Shahi, Shahid Ali, Nazrul Islam, Abu Hena Rony, Sadia Tanjin and others.
