The highly-anticipated nominations for the 2024 Grammy Awards have been unveiled, and SZA leads the pack with an impressive nine nominations.
Close contenders include Phoebe Bridgers and Victoria Monét, each earning seven nods, while Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, and Miley Cyrus are not far behind with six nominations each, according to BBC.
Taylor Swift, with an impressive track record of 12 wins and 46 nominations, continues to make history. Her nomination for Song of the Year with "Anti-Hero" marks her seventh in the category, setting a new record for the most nominations held by any songwriter.
Adding excitement to music's biggest night, three new categories have been introduced: Best African Music Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album, and Best Pop Dance Recording. This initiative aims to enhance the awards process, making it "more fair, transparent, and accurate," as stated by Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr.
