Tahsan, Mithila starrer 'Baaji' to be released this Eid

Popular singer and actor Tahsan Khan is all set to make his OTT debut with Chorki's upcoming web series 'Baaji'.

The mystery surrounding the cricketer in Chorki's Facebook post has finally been solved, and it's none other than Tahsan Khan himself.

Directed by Arifur Rahman, 'Baaji' is a suspense drama that revolves around the world of cricket and betting. Tahsan will play the role of a cricketer in the series, while Mithila will portray the character of a journalist. The series also stars Manoj Pramanik, Nazia Haq Orsha, Shahadat Hossain, Tashnuva Tisha and many more.

The couple is sharing screen for the first time after the divorce with the web series. Tahsan and Mithila, once a beloved real-life couple who tied the knot in 2007 and parted ways amicably in 2017, have continued to enchant audiences with their on-screen chemistry despite their personal separation. Their collaborative efforts in dramas such as "Amar Golpe Tumi", "Mr & Mrs", and "Landphoner Din Gulote Prem" have left an indelible mark on audiences, cementing their status as one of the industry's most beloved pairs.

About the series, producer Arifur Rahman said, 'The story of betting is arranged around cricket. This is the first time that a story about cricket will come up in a Bengali web content. Everyone has worked hard for the series. Tahsan-Mithila completed several months of preparation before the start of shooting. The audience can see the impression of that hard work on the screen.'

'Baji' is set to release on Chorki soon.

Tahsan is busy with music. Tahsan's song 'Range Range Range' was aired in the last Eid magazine program etc. Written by Kabir Bakul and composed by Imran Mahmudul, actress Tasnia Farin sang along with Tahsan in this song. Tahsan-Farin's song has been listened to more than 2 crore times on YouTube.

Meanwhile, Mithila's recent portrayal in the acclaimed film "O Abhagi", based on Sarat Chandra Chattopadhyay's timeless story, has garnered widespread acclaim. Directed by Anirban Chakraborty, the film premiered in West Bengal on March 3.
