Tasnia Farin to star in Eid drama ‘Mukti’

Popular actress Tasnia Farin will star in an upcoming Eid special drama titled "Mukti," written and directed by Mahmud Mahin.

Farin will portray Raisa, a woman seemingly living a perfect life balancing work and family. Despite facing occasional criticism from her in-laws, Raisa finds solace in her supportive husband Rakib.

However, her world turns upside down when an ex-boyfriend leaks a compromising video on social media. Raisa's life unravels as her family and husband misunderstand her, leaving her struggling to prove the video's falsity and expose the blackmail.

"This Eid, I have a limited number of dramas, and 'Mukti' is one of them," Farin said about the play. "The story delivers a powerful message. The director portrays how a woman can fight for the truth without resorting to self-harm."

Khairul Basar stars alongside Farin in the drama, set to air on the YouTube channel Rangon Entertainment during the upcoming Eid celebration.
