Theatre ULAB is going to stage its play ‘Pray Tin /Char Jon’ tomorrow at 7 pm at ULAB Research Building Auditorium, Dhanmondi in the capital. Written by Zahid Sohag, the play is directed by Sarwar Jahan Upol. The students of Theatre ULAB will perform in it.
The play portrays the nothingness of life where no character is given a proper name. Dead or alive, imprisoned or free — all these binaries carry no meaning at all to a mother who shadows her own memory lane in search of her sons. Her Déjà vu and hallucinations are beautifully portrayed by the playwright. Theatre ULAB performers are planning to present it with all their heartiest efforts.
Dr Kazi Anis Ahmed, Vice President, Board of Trustees, ULAB will be present at the event. Playwright Zahid Sohag will attend the programme and will share his words with the audience, too. Board of Governors, Faculty Members, Students, and their guardians will be there to watch the performance.
