Celebrated Bangladeshi actress Deepa Khandakar is set to have a busy Eid-ul-Fitr this year, with multiple releases across movies, web series and dramas.

"This Eid is really different in my acting career," Deepa said. "Usually on Eid, dramas used to be aired more on different channels and YouTube. But this Eid, my drama will be released, web series will also release on OTT, and movies will release on OTT and theatre respectively."

Deepa will be seen in the movie “MONA: Jinn-2” directed by Kamruzzaman Roman, opposite the late actor Ahmed Rubel. The movie will be released on Eid.

She will also star in the web series “Rumi” directed by Vicky Zahed, which will be released on the OTT platform HoiChoi. Chanchal Chowdhury plays the title role in the series.

A drama titled "Tomate Harai" directed by Toufiqul Islam will be aired on CMV's YouTube channel.

Deepa's latest movie "Aparajeyo" directed by Syed Salahuddin Zaki will be aired on Channel i's OTT platform "i-screen" on the seventh day of Eid at 10:15am.

"Dramas will be aired on YouTube, and advertisements will also be aired on television," Deepa said. "So all in all, professionally speaking, this is my best Eid in every way. Alhamdulillah."

Deepa expressed her grief about not being able to share the success of "Aparajeyo" with director Syed Salahuddin Zaki, who passed away before the movie's release.

"I miss Jaki sir a lot," she said. "He made the movie 'Aparajeyo'. But he could not see the audience's response. It was great experience acting with Afzal Bhai in this movie."

Deepa concluded by requesting her fans and viewers to watch her works this Eid. "Each work is very good," she said.
