Shakib Khan's much-anticipated action film "Toofan" has received an uncut censor certificate from the Bangladesh Film Censor Board, paving the way for its release on the upcoming Eid-Ul-Adha. The title track of the film was released yesterday which creates a buzz among the audiences.

Directed by Raihan Rafi, the film stars Shakib Khan as a 90s gangster and also features Goutam Ghosh, Chanchal Chowdhury, and Mimi Chakraborty in pivotal roles.

"Toofan" is a joint production of Azizur Rahman and Jamil Ahmed and is set to hit theatres on July 21st, coinciding with Eid-Ul-Adha.

Regarding the film, director Rafi said, "Toofan is a film that will introduce Bengali cinema to the world in a new way. Many films have changed the industry. Toofan is going to be one such film. It will raise the scale of Bengali cinema. It can be said that this film is my dream project. It is also a blessing to have Shakib bhai in this film."

"'Toofan' will be a game-changer for the Bengali film industry. This film will raise the bar for Bengali cinema," he added.

The film's first song, “Laage Ura Dhura,” was released last month and has been a major hit. The song features Shakib Khan and Mimi Chakraborty along with singer-actor Pritom Hasan and director Raihan Rafi in a cameo appearance.
