The people of the district are very happy and feel proud as a first grader Rohini Hasan Wriddhi won two national level competitions arranged by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy and Bangladesh Shishu Academy.

Wriddhi clinched ‘Jatyo Shishu Puroskar Protijogita’ arranged by Bangladesh Shishu Academy and ‘Deshbyapi Protiva Annyashan’ arranged by Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy held at both the academies institutional headquarters in Dhaka on July 26 and 30 respectively, reports BSS.

In both the completions, the little girl became second in recitation of 'Ka' group and she was the most little winner in age in that group, said her mother and college teacher Saima Rowson Nuri Sandhya.

Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy conferred its prize on Wriddhi at its Jatyo Natyashala function in Dhaka on Monday evening.

With Director General (DG) of the academy Liakat Ali Laki in the chair, the function was attended by State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid as the chief guest.

Wriddhi, a student of North Breeze School and College in Chapainawabganj town, expressed her joy and happiness getting the prizes.
