Eighteen universities from Bangladesh have recently been included in Australia's education profile, contributing to the internationalisation of the country’s education landscape.

This initiative, led by the Bangladesh High Commission in Australia, expands the existing collaboration with twelve Bangladeshi universities.

As a result, graduates will find it easier to access research and educational opportunities in Australian universities, read a press release on Thursday.

Among the newly included universities are five government and thirteen private institutions, including Khulna University, Shahjalal University of Science and Technology, Patuakhali Science & Technology University, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, North South University, American International University-Bangladesh, BRAC University, Daffodil International University, East West University, Independent University, Bangladesh, International Islamic University Chittagong, Islamic University of Technology, United International University, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh, and World University of Bangladesh.

Previously included universities include Dhaka University, Jahangirnagar University, Rajshahi University, University of Chittagong, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Khulna University of Engineering and Technology, Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University, Bangladesh Agricultural University, and Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology.
