Dry weather likely to continue

Weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies over the country in the next 24 hours, the Met office said.

Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country from late night till morning, said the latest weather bulletin from Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country while day temperature may fall slightly over the northern part and it may remain nearly unchanged elsewhere over the country, as per the bulletin.

The lowest temperature was recorded in Tetulia at 12.2 degree Celsius, while the highest temperature was 31 degrees in Sitakunda and Teknaf of the Chattogram division.

Meanwhile, a low-pressure area has formed over southeast Bay and adjoining areas. Its associated trough extends up to North Bay.
