“Jailer”, marking Rajinikanth's return to the screen after a two-year hiatus, is generating such anticipation that some companies in Chennai and Bengaluru have declared a holiday for their employees on the day of its release on August 10. The buzz surrounding Jailer is palpable, with fans counting down on social media platforms and offices even gifting free tickets to their staff.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer is poised to deliver an action-packed cinematic experience. The official trailer, titled Jailer Showcase, was recently unveiled, offering a glimpse into the intense narrative.

The film features a stellar cast, including Rajinikanth, Jackie Shroff, Priyanka Mohan, Shiva Rajkumar, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Vasanth Ravi, and Vinayakan. Additionally, veteran Malayalam actor Mohanlal is making an extended cameo appearance.

As the release date approaches, expectations for a remarkable box office debut are high. Companies are not only granting leave to employees but also taking proactive measures against piracy by distributing free tickets. The decision to offer a holiday on August 10 is aimed at avoiding a surge in leave requests.

On August 5, the makers took to Twitter (or X) and released a new poster featuring Rajinikanth and Mohanlal together in one frame. They can be seen sitting on a couch and having a conversation. Sharing the poster, Sun Pictures wrote, “5 days to go for Jailer storm in theatres! Jailer from August 10,” according to Hindustan Times.
