Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at one or two places over Mymensingh, Sylhet and Chattogram divisions, said the weather forecast issued for 24 hours on Wednesday.
The Deep Depression over East-central Bay and adjoining North Andaman Sea moved northeastwards, crossed Myanmar coast (near Pathein), weakened into a Depression afterwards and lay centred at 6:00am on Wednesday over coastal Myanmar and adjoining area, it said.
The depression is likely to move in a North/North East direction further and weaken gradually.
Trough of westerly low lies over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and adjoining area, the met bulletin added.
A mild heat wave is sweeping over the Sylhet division and Rangamati and Rajshahi districts and it may continue.
The weather may remain dry with a temporary partly clouded sky elsewhere over the country.
The day temperature may remain nearly unchanged and night temperature may fall slightly over the country.
On Tuesday, the Country's maximum temperature was recorded 36.9 degrees Celsius in Sylhet and the minimum temperature on Wednesday was 19.5 degrees Celsius at Srimangal.
The sun will set at around 6:00pm and tomorrow (Thursday) the sun will rise at 5:59am.
