Beximco wins three govt IT-related contracts worth Tk 356.5 crore

Beximco Ltd has been awarded IT-related contracts with three government agencies with an accumulated value of Tk 356.5 crore.

Representatives from Beximco and the government signed one of the contracts, worth Tk 47.5 crore, on Sunday, said a press statement issued on Monday,

As per the agreement, Beximco’s IT Division in collaboration with Dohatec New Media and DotGov Solutions LLC USA will develop an upgraded full-fledged electronic project management information system (e-PMIS) for the Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) of the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED) under the Ministry of Planning.

Meanwhile, in collaboration with Tech Mahindra Ltd India and Tech Valley Networks Ltd Bangladesh, Beximco will develop an online food stock and market monitoring system for the Director General of Food of the government for Tk 261 crores, financed by the World Bank.

Earlier last month, Beximco Computers Ltd signed two contracts worth Tk 48 crore with the Bangladesh Computer Council for the establishment of Cyber Range at Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) and IT Lab at the Bangladesh Institute of Administration and Management (BIAM) Foundation.
