Normal banking hours from tomorrow

The Bangladesh Bank has asked all banks to start their normal banking operations from Wednesday maintaining social distancing and the health guidelines issued for Covid-19 pandemic.

All branches of all banks will remain open for transactions from 10:00am to 4:00pm and bankers will complete official tasks by 6:00pm, according to the issued on Monday.

Banks operated activities on a limited scale from July 25 to August 5 for three hours and a half at the instruction of the central bank.
