In view of lifting lockdown restrictions, Indian visa application centres in Bangladesh will resume their regular services from Wednesday.
The Indian High Commission in Dhaka announced the information on its Facebook page on Tuesday.
Applicants do not need to take an appointment or permission to apply for a visa at Indian Visa Application Centre (IVAC), said the Indian High Commission.
However, all applications except for tourist visas are being accepted, it added.
Indian visa centres in Bangladesh have been closed from July 1 due to strict lockdown announced by the Bangladesh government.
Earlier on April 14, the High Commission of India temporarily suspended the operations at all its visa centres across Bangladesh. Indian visa operations in Bangladesh resumed in October last year after remaining suspended for more than 6 months due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
