PM working relentlessly to develop Bangladesh: Kamal

Finance Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly for the development of the country.

“She has been taking the country forward on the path shown by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. She is taking the country to its cherished place by completing the unfinished works of Father of the Nation,” he said at a closing ceremony of three-day photo exhibition on a decade of Bangladesh Development held at the Hotel Sheraton on Tuesday.

The Canadian University of Bangladesh organized the exhibition marking the 75th birthday of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.

“I believe the next generation will be benefited as our prime minister has taken the country forward,” he said.

“You can see she has been in building ‘Sonar Bangla’ successfully through implementing her plans properly. Today is our Prime Minister birthday, best wishes for her,” he added.

The exhibition titled ‘Bangladesh: An Era of Development’, featured photographs of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s one-decade long development works as the premier and various steps taken by her in the global arena and various important events.

Dr Chowdhury Nafeez Sarafat, founder and chairman of the board of trustees of the Canadian University of Bangladesh, was present at the programme.
