The four-day World Congress on Information Technology 2021 (WCIT 2021) concluded at Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital on Sunday.
Salman F Rahman, private sector and investment adviser to the prime minister, was present as the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony.
State Minister for Information and Communication Technology Junaid Ahmed Palak presided over the function.
ICT Division Senior Secretary NM Zeaul Alam, World Information Technology and Services Alliances (WITSA) Secretary General Dr James H Poisant, President of Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) Shahid-ul-Munir and Bangladesh Computer Council (BCC) Executive Director Abdul Mannan were, among others, present.
At the end of the event, WITSA Chairman Yannis Sirros announced virtually that the WCIT 2022 will be held in Malaysia.
