Covid-19: Bangladesh logs 1 more death, 291 new infections

Bangladesh registered one more Covid related death and 291 new infections in the last 24hrs until Tuesday morning. 

After adding the recent data, the total number of fatalities  jumped to 28,051, while the positivity rate stood at 1.39 

After adding the fresh cases, the total caseload jumped to 15,81,634 said a regular bulletin of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

The health authorities reported the latest figures after testing 20,909 samples at 849 laboratories across the country.

Bangladesh has so far tested 1,13,06,938 samples.

At the same time, 264 patients recovered from the deadly infection in the last 24 hours, raising the overall recovery to 15,46,071.

Meanwhile, the global Covid case reached 275,546,124 and fatalities reached 5,363,783.
