Mazadul selected for PhD at BAU

Economic affairs analyst Md Mazadul Hoque has recently been qualified as Ph.D Research Fellow at Bangladesh Agricultural University (BAU).

He got the opportunity following his publications in international journals, academic credential apart from research experience.

Hoque delivers lecture at International Expert Session of Chandigarh University, India. Besides, he is involved as economist with Parliamentarians Caucus on Migration and Development of Bangladesh Parliament.

Hoque is linked with United Nations Association of Bangladesh (UNAB) guided by foreign ministry as a member. He authors a book titled “Macroeconomic Issues: Bangladesh Perspective”.

He continues to write articles, opinion pieces and analyses in the country's leading English language newspapers on contemporary economic and foreign affairs issues. He holds the prestigious position of Bangladesh Columnists’ Forum (BCF) as member secretary.

Mazadul Hoque completed his graduation and post-graduation in Economics from University of Chittagong, followed by a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Jahangirnagar University.

Soon after completing post-graduation in Economics, Hoque jumped into journalism with The Financial Express, the country’s first English language business daily as Staff Correspondent.

Then, he switched over to the financial sector. He appears on TV talk-shows and is invited as panelist at national and international seminars and forums. Hoque, as distinguished speaker, talks in the seminars organized by Bangladesh High Commission and Embassy offices abroad.
