Newly elected committee members of the Bangladesh Association of International Recruiting Agencies (BAIRA) have made a courtesy call on Expatriates’ Welfare and Overseas Employment Minister Imran Ahmad at his office on Monday.
Freedom fighter Mohd Noor Ali led the BAIRA delegation during the visit at Probashi Kalyan Bhaban.
Expatriates’ Minister Imran Ahmed received floral greetings from the BAIRA leaders and gave assurances of providing all out support to the newly elected BAIRA committee members to boost manpower export.
BAIRA leaders discussed various issues – including the future plans regarding this sector – with the minister.
Newly elected BAIRA President Mohammed Abul Basher, Secretary General Shameem Ahmed Chowdhury Noman and other members of the executive committee were present at the meeting.
The election of BAIRA executive committee was held at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel on September 3 after six years. Noor Ali led Sammilita Oikya Parishad achieved a landslide victory and secured 23 spots out of 27.
