VOYAGE TO DEEP SEA

Fishermen rent boats from merchants and go deep in the Bay of Bengal on a fishing voyage for several days. The merchants also supply them with food for the period. The fishermen return with catch worth Tk 1-5 lakh and give it all to the merchants. The merchants then sell the fish and give the fishermen a portion of the earnings.
