The Nepali rupee hit all-time record low against the US dollar on Tuesday because of the steady depreciation of the Indian rupee.
The fresh depreciation takes place after the currency got weaker by 32 paisa on Tuesday.
With the new depreciation, Nepali currency rate stood at Rs125.16 per USD.
Nepali currency vis-à-vis the US dollar depreciated 3.71 per cent in mid-May 2022 from mid-July 2021, according to Nepal Rastra Bank.
