Salim Ullah new FID secretary

The government has appointed Sheikh Mohammad Salim Ullah as the secretary of the Financial Institutions Division.

The Ministry of Public Administration on Thursday issued a notice regarding the appointment which came to effect immediately. Earlier, Salim Ullah was an additional secretary in the Finance Division of the Ministry of Finance.

Besides, the government also sent Md Rezaul Ahsan, Secretary of the Department of Rural Development and Cooperatives, to retirement with one year post-retirement leave.

Land Appeal Board Chairman Md Moshiur Rahman has been transferred as the Secretary of the Department of Rural Development and Cooperatives.

Land Reform Board chairman Md Ehsan-E-Elahi is also transferred as the Secretary of Ministry of Labour and Employment.

The government also appointed Economic Relations Division Additional Secretary Dr Nahid Rashid as the Director General of the Bangladesh Employees Welfare Board.
