Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq today said those who disbelieve the country’s independence, killed Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
“Those who refused to believe the independence of the country had killed Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman,” he said.
The law minister said this while addressing a conference of senior agriculturists at the auditorium of Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) in the capital as the chief guest, a press release said.
The Dhaka Metropolitan unit of KIB organized the event, the release added.
After the killing of Bangabandhu, the disbelievers did not yet stop rather they also made the arrangements to hinder the trial of this heinous assassination, he said, adding that indemnity ordinance was issued to stop the trial of Bangabandhu murder.
Such ill motive was a part of a plan to turn Bangladesh into a failed state, he continued.
