Quader admitted to BSMMU with minor illness

Awami League general secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader was admitted to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University on Tuesday with minor sickness.

"Obaidul Quader has been advised to take treatment staying admitted to BSMMU. A 10-member medical board has checked his condition and advised him to take treatment at BSMMU," Vice-Chancellor of BSMMU Professor Dr Md Sharfuddin Ahmed told journalists.

He said Obaidul Quader has been suffering from asthma along with previous health complications. The medical board will conduct a checkup again at 10am tomorrow and the media will be briefed about the latest update of his health condition , BSMMU VC added.
