Veteran journalist Reazuddin Ahmed dies of Covid

Reazuddin Ahmed, a senior journalist and former president of Jatiya Press Club (JPC), died of Covid-19 at a city hospital. He was 77.

Reazuddin, also former president of Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) and ex-editor of the News Today, breathed his last at 1:36pm at United Hospital, an official at the hospital told UNB.

He said the journalist was admitted to the hospital on December 13 with the Covid infections and shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on December 19 as his condition worsened.
