No tax increase for city dwellers: Chattogram Mayor 

Chattogram City Mayor Rezaul Karim Chowdhury on Tuesday said that the tax net and area will be increased in Chattogram City Corporation after the re-assessment of house tax and no more taxes will be increased for the city dwellers.

The city Mayor also urged the city dwellers not to be confused about house taxes.

“However, CCC will maintain the taxes at a tolerable level," the city mayor made the remarks while addressing a meeting to review the decisions of the standing committees formed by CCC, held at the conference room of the temporary Nagar Bhaban at Tiger Pass this afternoon.
