AL to hold joint meeting Tuesday

Awami League will hold a joint meeting with its associate bodies’ presidents and general secretaries as well as presidents and general secretaries of AL city north and south units on Tuesday.

AL General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader will chair the meeting to be held at Bangabandhu Avenue central office at 11:00am, a press release said.

Quader urged the all concerned to attend the meeting on time in compliance with the health guidelines, it added.

The joint meeting follows the meeting of the party’s central working committee meeting where the party President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has directed the party leaders to organise the AL ahead of the next general elections and the conference of the party. The meeting was held at Ganabhaban on Saturday night.
