HC grants bail to land ministry official

The High Court has granted an interim bail to Kutub Uddin Ahmed, a former administrative officer of the land ministry, who was sentenced to five years in prison in a graft case.

A High Court bench of Justice Md Akhtaruzzaman granted him bail for six months. During the hearing, the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) lawyer AdvocateKhurshid Alam Khan and defendant’s lawyer Advocate Yusuf Hossain Humayun were present.
