The Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at concluded its 56th annual international convention in the UK on Sunday.
The worldwide head of the community, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, led the concluding prayers.
The convention began on August 5 by hoisting the flag of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at along with flags of about 200 countries and offering silent prayers.
During the three days of the convention, various speakers including the Ahmadiyya supreme leader delivered many speeches, says a press release.
The Ahmadiyya chief in his speech called for prayers for world peace, unity and brotherhood among mankind.
About 30 thousand devotees attended the convention which is taking place after two years of Covid restrictions. Ahmadis from all over the world including from different places in Bangladesh also joined the convention virtually.
Religious scholars are delivering lectures on different topics for the betterment of mankind.
About 40 dignitaries from different countries also sent their goodwill messages for the success of the convention.
The proceedings of the three-day convention were broadcast live on Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at’s official satellite tv channel and also on social media platforms.
