Former Additional Inspector General of Police (Addl IGP) Mir Shahidul Islam has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of the National Security Affairs Cell under the Cabinet Division on contract basis for two years.
Contract and Foreign Recruitment Branch of the Public Administration Ministry issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday.
The tenure of his appointment will be two years from September 15 or from the date of his joining the office.
The currently CEO of the National Security Affairs Cell Asaduzzaman Mia’s contract will be ended on September 14.
Asaduzzaman was appointed to the post on a contractual basis for three years.
