Business Post’s Samiur Rahman 1st runner-up

The Business Post’s Senior Reporter Samiur Rahman became the first runner-up for the Badi-Uz-Zaman Trophy, awarded for exclusive reports, at the Max-BSPA awards 2021.

Samiur won the award for his report, ‘Dubious cos use cricket to deceive people’, published on September 19, 2021.

The awards were handed out at a ceremony at the FARS Hotel in Dhaka, where the state minister for Youth and Sports, Zahid Ahsan Russel, was present as the chief guest. Chairman of Max Group, Engineer Golam Mohammad Alamgir, was present as the special guest.

Sadman Sakib, a reporter from Channel 24, won the Tawfiq Aziz Khan Trophy as the journalist of the year. He also won the first prize of the Badi-Uz-Zaman Trophy.
