The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants observed the 20th death anniversary of its founder Ruhul Quddus on Tuesday.
ICMAB has organised a discussion and dua mahfil on the occasion where its President Md Mamunur Rashid said Ruhul Quddus’ role in the development of the CMA profession will be remembered forever.
After securing a CMA degree in 1958 from Canada, he played the pioneering role for developing the profession in Bangladesh. Born on April 2, 1928 at Kotgaon of Munshiganj, Ruhul initially taught at Haraganga College in Munshiganj and later joined Dhaka University. He served ICMAB as president from 1975 to 1986.
