The Majlis Khoddamul Ahmadiyya, a voluntary youth organisation of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Bangladesh, held its 50th annual convention with the message of spreading the lifestyle of the Prophet (PBUH) throughout the world.
The three-day convention that featured a number of panel discussions and a sports competition was held peacefully in October 7-9 at Ahmadnagar in Panchagarh.
Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Bangladesh National Amir Maulana Abdul Awwal Khan Chowdhury and the head of Khoddamul Ahmadiyya Muhammad Zaheed Ali inaugurated the convention on October 7.
The worldwide head of Ahmadiyya community, Mirza Masroor Ahmad, in his message said, ‘Let us establish strong friendship with each other and live in love and harmony.’
The convention also provided the locals with various services, including blood donation activities, free eye check-up and medical services, said a press release.
In the closing session of the convention on October 9, the life and philosophy of the Prophet (PBUH) was highlighted and everyone was called upon to lead their lives by following the example of the Prophet.
