Reshuffle in public admin

In a reshuffle, the government on Thursday changed the offices of two secretaries, promoted a secretary to senior secretary and three additional secretaries to the rank of secretary.

The Public Administration Ministry in separate gazette notifications informed the changes.

The government made Industries Secretary Zakia Sultana as the secretary of the Information and Broadcasting Ministry.

Senior Secretary of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry Aminul Islam Khan has been made senior secretary of the Public Security Division under the Home Ministry.

Local Government Division Secretary Mohammed Mezbah Uddin has been promoted as senior secretary of the division.

The government promoted three additional secretaries to the rank of secretary.

The newly promoted secretaries are – Chief Executive Officer of Dhaka South City Corporation Farid Ahmed, Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK) Chairman Md Anisur Rahman Miah and Additional Secretary of the Public Security Division Md Jahangir Alam.

Of them, Farid Ahmed has been made secretary of the Primary and Mass Education Ministry, the posting of Md Anisur Rahman Miah remains unchanged as the RAJUK chairman and Md Jahangir Alam was posted to the Election Commission Secretariat as its secretary.
