Genocide Museum thanks Khalid for initiating research centre

Trustees of Genocide Museum on Monday expressed gratitude to State Minister for Cultural Affairs KM Khalid for setting up a research centre on mass-killing, torture and liberation war affairs.

The trustee board also has praised Khalid for playing a unique role in setting up the research center, according to an official release.

The trustee board members led by its president Professor Dr Muntasir Mamoon called on the state minister at his secretariat office here this morning.

The other member of the trustee board vice-presidents artist Hashem Khan, Shahriar Kabir, Professor Dr M Mahbubur Rahman, Lt Col (retd) Kazi Sajjad Ali Jahir Bir-Protik, Amal Kumar Gayeen and secretary Dr Chowdhury Shahid Kader were present.
