Shahriar for raising voice against corruption

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shahriar Alam, has called for raising voice against corruption in the greater interest of freeing the nation from its curse.

Corruption generates disparity, inequality and injustice in society. So, there is no way but to eradicate the social menace collectively.

The state minister came up with the observation while addressing a meeting at Bagha Upazila Parishad auditorium to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day - 2022 as chief guest.

Upazila Chairman Advocate Layed Uddin also addressed the meeting with UNO Sharmin Akter in the chair.

Shahriar Alam said corruption has created miseries in all countries of the world. This is the high time for forging resistance against corruption. All should remain alert and there is no scope of sheltering corruption.

He told the meeting that the present government under the dynamic and prudent leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been working relentlessly to establish corruption-free societies.

All the government and non-government organisations should supplement the government endeavors through freeing their respective working places from corruption.

Earlier, State Minister Shahriar Alam led a rally brought out to create public awareness on the issue in observance of the day.
