HSC, equivalent results today

The results of the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and its equivalent examinations for the year 2022 will be published today.

Chairmen of all boards will hand over the results to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the morning and later, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni will hold a press conference at 12:30pm on the results at International Mother Language Institute in Dhaka, said Mohammad Abul Khair, public relations officer of the ministry.

A total of 1,203,407 students – 6,22,769 boys and 5,80,611 girls – from 9,181 educational institutions sat for the exams at 2,649 centres across the country in 2022.

Board officials said candidates can get their results online or through SMS. To get the results under general boards through SMS, candidates have to type HSC, the first three letters of the board name, followed by the candidate’s roll number and the year, and send it to 16222.

Alternatively, the candidates can also get results from http://www.educationboardresults.gov.bd. They can download individual result sheets by entering their roll and registration number.

The HSC and equivalent examinations-2022 began on November 6, 2022, and ended on December 13 of the
same year.

Traditionally, the education boards publish the results within two months of the exams.
