The Islamic University authorities on Sunday formed a four-member committee to investigate the alleged leaked audio conversation between its acting registrar HM Ali Hasan and a contractor that went viral on social media.
A press release, signed by IU VC's personal secretary M Moniruzzaman Molla, was issued in this regard in the afternoon.
IU vice-chancellor Professor Shaikh Abdus Salam formed the committee led with university's Business Administration faculty dean Professor M Shaiful Islam as its head, the press release said.
Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Hall provost Professor Miah M Rashiduzzaman, IUTA general secretary Professor Tapan Kumar Godder and deputy registrar (education) Alib Uddin are the members of the probe body.
